The Girl Who Wrote a Song

Once upon a time there was a girl who was writing a song and it was called, "Give me away". She was having a hard time at it but at least her brother wasn't around making silly noises all day. But it was still hard. At last it was done! Then she started a story.

The End.

Joy (song)

Do you remember what I said in the earth of joy?
'cause I meant it
From the bottom of my heart to the top of joy
I like the way it is, I like the way it's going
Nobody else can find me,
not even at home in my warm soft bed.
Joy joy joy
Joy is all I like
Joy joy joy
Joy is all I like
Joy joy joy joy joy joy joy!

(repeats)

Dads are Scary

(This was her very first book/story, she wrote it before she could even write down the words)

Once upon a time there was a family with 7 children. The dad kept hiding in the dark and scaring them when they were supposed to be sleeping. They JUMPED and started screaming. The dad was hiding in the closet very much.

The mom kept saying, "Stop scaring them! They're supposed to be sleeping!"

One day he hid in the closet and waited and waited and waited sooooo long, when he jumped out to scare them, they were all asleep. So nobody was scared. He stopped trying to scare them because it didn't work any more.

The End.

The Two Cats

Once upon a time there was a very lonely black fat cat. Her name was Bella. She wanted a friend.

So the family went and got one, and the kitten was stripey black and silver. She looked like she had a mask and her name was Luna because she looked like the moon.

Bella and Luna started fighting and fighting and fighting. Two weeks later they were still fighting.

Eight weeks later they were nice to each other for the very first time. We were SO surprised!

The End.

My name is Anna!

I started this blog because I wanted to tell people about the stories and songs that I've written. I'm 6 and a half years old, and on November 17th I'm going to be 7.

My favorite thing about writing is that I learn how to spell new words, and I learn how to read better at school. And I am ahead of everybody at class, Alyssa and I are the best in the class.

(This is being typed out for her by her mom, who also likes to write!)
